Derreenataggart Stone Circle (also known as Derrintaggart) is situated on private land and is about 2km from Castletownbere on the Beara Peninsula.

As you can probably see, it was a fairly wet day when we were there.  The rain stopped just long enough for Ally and I to get out of the car, take some photos, and then race each other back to the car when it started to lash again.

Derreenataggart Stone Circle is estimated to be about 3,000 years old and was probably constructed as a cermonial or ritual site.
